Overview

With more than 20 years of professional performance experience and private flute teaching experience, Dr. Bellamy-Lanz leads with kindness and humor while emphasizing technical dexterity, tone production, intonation, breathing, embouchure develompent/control, stage presence, self-awareness, and self-evaluation. Her lessons are guided by investigation by asking students questions to help guide their thought processes and advance their ability to self-diagnose. Lesson curriculum is tailored to each student, whether they need to prepare for an audition, are interested in pursuing music at the university level, or want to be equipped with more nuanced skills to enjoy playing music at increasingly advanced levels.
